Camping de Haas is situated on the outskirts of Wolphaartsdijk, in Zuid-Beveland. From the campsite, you’re just a stone’s throw from Veerse Meer. Head out onto the water on a stand-up paddleboard or in a boat, go for a swim on a warm day, or simply sit with your feet in the grass by the water’s edge and watch the boats go by.

The area around the campsite is typical of Zeeland: dykes you can cycle along, quiet polder roads and sweeping views that naturally make you slow your pace. Along the way, you’ll come across small villages where you can stop for a delicious ice cream or a cosy spot on a terrace.

If you fancy a bit more hustle and bustle, you’re in the right place too. Goes is nearby for the market or the high street; in Middelburg, you can wander through the old streets; and in Zierikzee, it feels as though you’ve stepped back in time. There’s something for everyone!
